Mission for Families Supporting Families
This group is for parents, siblings, relatives and friends of people affected by an eating disorder. Its intent is to provide a safe place to share with others the challenges faced by those dealing with this devastating disease. (It is not a group for eating disorder patients.)
This is also not a therapy group. It is a support group organized and run by volunteers under the auspices of the Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee (EDCT).
Anorexia and bulimia affect millions of people. Those who love and support them carry a huge burden as well. This group is designed so that those people can support each other through this very difficult process.
We hope you will spread the word. It will do much good in the community. Have anyone interested contact me.
